Description
What happens when a rainstorm comes to a busy town and
changes life in unexpected ways? In When the Rain Came to Our
Town, Kofi and his friends live in sunny Kumasi — until dark
clouds roll in and rain transforms their world. At first, the children
splash and laugh, but the storm soon floods streets and threatens
homes. With courage and creativity, Kofi, Abena, Yaw, and Fatima
work to protect their town, help neighbours, and rescue stranded
animals. Along the way, they meet children from Accra, Cape
Coast, and Takoradi, learning the power of teamwork and
community. This heartwarming adventure for ages 6–8
celebrates friendship, problem-solving, and the idea that hope
can shine brighter than any storm. Filled with Ghanaian culture,
colourful characters, and spirited fun.
