Makola Street in Accra buzzes from sunrise to nightfall —traders calling out, taxis hooting and children weaving through crowds. Everyone depends on the street, but when new traders
set up stalls along the pavement, disagreements flare. Shop owners, drivers and pedestrians all struggle to share space safely. Caught in the middle are four friends — Kojo, who helps
in his aunt’s shop; Zainab, whose mother sells fabrics; Efua, a careful observer; and Yaw, who dreams of being a city planner. As tensions rise, the children realise that adults alone can’t fix
