When four university students—Kojo, Abena, Selorm, and Mariama—set out to complete a social research project on night-shift workers across Ghana, they expect interviews, photos, and insightful data. What they do not expect is to stumble into a mystery threading through hospitals, truck stops, markets, power stations, and bustling city streets between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Their journey begins innocently in Accra, observing nurses and security guards at Korle-Bu. But as they travel to Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, and Tamale, patterns begin to emerge—strange power fluctuations at midnight, missing consignments on the Accra–Kumasi highway, frightened workers whispering about masked men, and unexplained factory shutdowns in industrial zones.
Something dangerous is moving beneath the surface of Ghana’s night economy.
As the four students dig deeper, they cross paths with real-life heroes: a fisherwoman who works through storms, a railway technician risking his life to prevent an accident, a police constable on a terrifying night patrol, and a young mechanic who uncovers evidence of sabotage.
What begins as a research project transforms into a race against time as the students realise they are the only ones connecting the dots between several night time incidents. Ghana’s safety depends on people who work when the world sleeps—but also on those brave enough to protect them.
